I looked at other magazine contents pages to consider whether
or not the picture should be larger and more important than the text. In the
three examples the words have been made smaller and to fit around the vocal
point which is the image. After looking at this I will try to minimise the
amount of text and the size of text so that photographs can be the key aspect
of my contents page.

I looked at two magazines where other pictures have been
used alongside the main image. I think the example where the images run down
the page instead of across is more aesthetically pleasing and I will therefore try
to incorporate this into magazine. The use of the large bold font for the word
contents enables the word to stand out and make the reader’s eye instantly go
to it so that the rest of the page is self-explanatory, I would like to incorporate
this. Both magazine contents pages strongly follow the rule of thirds which I
would like to embody. I particularly the
example where the main image takes up the right hand corner of the page with
the text and extra pictures as a bolder down the left and bottom thirds. I
would like to do this but to incorporate the other example I would like the
text and images to swap the images went down the page with the text going along
the bottom.
Good but given your images does this research suffice?
